Being married to the love of your life is the best to say the least. Seeing him first thing when you wake up and him being the last thing you see when you end your day is a feeling you can’t even begin to describe and he feels the same.

Today is his first day off in months and what better way to spend it than with you? The morning light peeks into your room through the blinds shining softly on your features. The two of you were pressed together impossibly close with your limbs lazily entertained together under the covers. You feel him stir before he opens his eyes. You’re still fast asleep but can somehow feel his loving gaze on you as you sleep.

His large red wings gently unfold and stretch out before he wraps them around you both in the nest of blankets and pillows surrounding you in bed. He nuzzles his face into the crook of your warm neck before pressing a kiss onto it and closing his eyes again.
