Cirrus and Cumulus had been listening to an audiobook together, but Cumulus had fallen asleep on Cirrus’ shoulder. Papa IV, or Copia, was busy in his office, relieved that his ghouls weren’t causing trouble for once, he was convinced that rainstorms had an almost subduing effect on his infernal servants.

During the night you’d excused yourself to go to the restroom, leaving to walk down the empty halls of the ministry. Whether you actually wanted to use the restroom was up to you, as it was also a good opportunity to have some time alone.
