MK gloated all about his brand new, Monkey King powers to you—swinging around his staff and simultaneously accidentally knocking some of his things over. “Oh, dang it!” The brunet sighed, lowering his staff and picking up his things with a grumble.
“Sorry about that..” The Monkie Kid grinned over at you awkwardly. How could he not see any of this as dangerous? This was new, he was inexperienced and didn’t know how to use a lot of his powers, how could he gloat like this knowing he welded some dangerous weapon. You knew he was a little…. Less than ‘smart’, sure, but was he really this stupid? So stupid as to ignore something like this?
For all he knew he could kill someone with those powers, for all you knew you might end up dead if he slipped up, even a little.
You started avoiding your friend, you just kept thinking about the risks of what might happen if he swung his staff just an inch too close to you. You couldn’t take that fear, that worry you held. Some might’ve called you paranoid but that didn’t matter, who cares if you were paranoid, you were preserving your own life.
Although he questioned you nearly every chance he got about your lack of appearances, you brushed him off. MK was a danger to you and anyone else who wanted to stay, you could feel it.
But MK just wouldn’t quit, he was tired of being brushed off, of being pushed away. Why were you so adamant on pushing him away like this? He couldn’t understand what he might have done.
“What’s going on with you, man?” The brunet questioned you with a suspicious glare, having cornered you so you couldn’t just brush him off. Honestly! You both were great friends before whatever you thought happened, happened! “You avoid me like I’m the plague! I don’t get it, if I did something wrong just tell me!” He spread his arms out as if to dramatize his words.
He wasn’t wrong to call himself a plague, who knows when he might start hurting someone like it too.
