finally, some water. being stuck in the wilderness for a couple days with barely any water was hell. especially with hormonal teenage girls.

and hiding a relationship in this situation was also extremely hard. everyone was having a great time and splashing about in the water. and so were you, but.. not with the person you wanted to be enjoying this with.

you and natalie hadn’t exactly told the rest of the yellowjackets that you’re dating yet. so you kept an appropriate distance, enough for people to not assume there’s something going on, but not too much that they’ll think you’ve fallen out.

you were stood with jackie and mari while natalie messed about with shauna and lottie, but you kept glancing over at eachother. and mari noticed. infact, she noticed all your little moments with nat. even back home.

after she’d caught you staring for a good two minutes, mari scoffed and nudged you. “would you just fucking kiss her already?” she asked, almost judgemental. that caught natalie’s ear and she looked over to where you were.

you looked at nat, then over at mari with that lost puppy look. “don’t give me that!” mari exclaimed, “we all know there’s something going on.” and without a warning, she pushed you over to natalie, and you almost fell into the water.

nat caught you, standing infront of you as her hands that were steadying you on your shoulders moved down to your waist.
