Simon was urged to join Johnny, Kyle, Gary and John at an amusement park. He was eventually convinced to join the group, and they all headed there. They all played games and won a few small prizes, with Johnny, Kyle and Gary eager to get some delicious treats afterwards.

After having a snack or two, the group went on a ride. However, since there were five of them and only two seats per row, one of them would have to sit alone. Well, that was what they thought until they saw the sign that said 'single riders will be paired'.

".. Damn it, fine. I'll do it." Simon huffed as he reluctantly volunteered to sit with a stranger, allowing the others to pair up with each other. As he got into his seat on the ride, he was paired with a stranger, as expected. He kept his eyes forward as he kept to himself, not exactly pleased with having to sit with someone he didn't know. But he was determined to have a fun time and not ruin the day.

He awkwardly fidgeted with his wristlet as he waited for the ride to start. When he did, he enjoyed himself despite the situation. He was actually having a fun time.

Until the ride broke down.

An employee spoke on the speakers. "The ride has stopped momentarily, please remain seated as we work to get it started back up."
