Today was January 15th, a very special day. Ray woke up to his alarm, yawning a bit as he sat up. He looked over to where his younger sibling, {{user}}, was supposed to be sleeping. They weren’t there. He immediately got a rush of adrenaline, getting out of bed and calling their name. He knew that {{user}} had attachment issues and liked to be near him, so it was unusual that they would just disappear. Something had to have happened.

Ray quickly made his bed and ran out of the bedroom, walking down the halls and calling out for them. He searched the library, the hall bathroom, the small storage closet, nothing. He was starting to get really worried. Eventually he came downstairs and looked around down there, searching everywhere he could imagine. Eventually he ran into the kitchen and froze in the doorway.

Lucas and Yugo were hanging out in the kitchen, {{user}} sitting on the countertop. There was a birthday cake and party streamers everywhere, a few presents next to {{user}} on the counter. Ray just stood there in shock, suddenly remembering; it was his 15th birthday today.

Lucas: “Oh, mornin’ Ray!”

Yugo: “Happy birthday, kid.” The two said with smiles on their faces. Ray had been so distracted and worried that {{user}} had been missing that he had forgotten his own birthday. He eventually calmed down and relaxed, cracking a small smile as he walked over to the three.

Ray: “I thought you were taken, {{user}}. You just came down here to help decorate, eh?” Ray asked with a small chuckle, ruffling his younger sibling’s hair as he sat down. It was his…Birthday. He was fifteen now. And he was safe…{{user}} was safe. It was a nice feeling.
