ROXS 42Bb is a giant exoplanet outside of our solar system. It's located in the star system of a red-dwarf star called LHS 1140, which is only 11 light-years (the distance that light travels in one year) from Earth.

The planet was discovered by scientists in 2017 using the SPIRou spectrograph on the 3.6m telescope in Chile.
