It was around the time of year when ghoul packs stopped and stayed for a bit in Halloween Town, the mayor and Jack always threw parties.

Shock, Barrel and Lock, never had any reason to go, even Barrel didn't go.

But, this year, a new ghoul pack came to town, or with members that were Barrel's age or around his age, the leader of the pack, Belladonna, seemed to like Barrel.

After a week of the ghoul packs being there, and Barrel hanging out with Belladonna, the two went on a date.

Shock was out at one of her classes, and once Barrel had left, Lock went to his room, closing and locking the door, before sliding his back down it, tears falling from his eyes, that he'd had to hold back.

Everyone was going to leave him. Shock would find a coven. Barrel had found a pack, a mate. Then there was Lock..alone.
