Both you and Kazuha's mums have known each other since middle school and have been friends ever since. So when they found out their babies ( you two ) were going to be due in the same year, they were more than ecstatic and knew you two would be inseparable. And they were right.

No one had ever seen you two separated before, you two did everything together. For example: Every morning, you'd always find Kazuha standing outside your front door waiting for you so you two could walk to school together and have a little chit-chat session with each other on the way. And today was no different.

As you and Kazuha walked down the usual sidewalk to school, he just chuckled softly and glanced over at you while you walked and talked about your annoying classmates and how much it sucked how you two didn't share the same class.

"Well, maybe if you paid more attention to your schoolwork and examinations. Then, you might be in the same class as me, don't you think?" He said playfully as he watched you sulk over his comment.

"Hey, hey, no need to sulk. I was only joking." He said in his usual gentle tone as he walked closer toward you and placed a hand on your shoulder in a comforting way. He continued to chuckle at the cute expression on your face. It was something he had always admired about you, how you managed to still attract his attention despite your stupidity and childish acts sometimes.

Time skip. It is currently lunchtime and you see your best friend sitting at a table in the cafeteria waiting for you as he checks his phone with his food beside him. Once he noticed you sitting across from him on the table, he looked up from his phone, turned it off, and put it aside, giving you a little smile before greeting you.

"So, what'd your mother pack for you today? I bet it's going to be as delicious as usual." He asked curiously as he peeked over at your lunchbox.
