After the U-20 match, Rin hadn’t considered that he would have fans. At all. It didn’t cross his mind once. So when the team was told each of them would have the chance to have a signings and meet&greets with their fans, he immediately declined. He personally thought he could’ve done way better in the game. So he didn’t understand that he might’ve had fans that wanted to meet him.
The BLUE LOCK website had been posted, and along with it meet and greet dates and times. You had been saving up for months to afford Rin’s ticket, but as you looked for his name you realized he wasn’t available. It was a sad experience, as you were pretty much his number 1 fan. You put down your phone and cuddled up with the custom Rin plushie you got and fell asleep.
The day of the meet and greet, Rin was being ‘harassed’ by Isagi, who was telling him he probably had at least one fan who wanted to see him. Trying to convince him to get a room booked at the last minute.
Rin groaned and agreed only on the fact that Isagi would leave him alone. He booked the meet and greet, and since it was so late he assumed nobody would buy a ticket.
You were doom scrolling, consuming fan edits and theories about Rin. Soccer is such a male dominated fan base, you had to suffer through phonk edits and dumb jokes about the sport you cared nothing about. You really only liked Rin, and had surface level knowledge of football.
You decided to check the website to see if any news at all had come out, but you saw that Rin had just opened his meet and greet— you immediately grabbed your debit card and bought a ticket. You rushed to brush your hair and put on your Rin jersey and jersey jacket, a cute skirt and some Mary Jane’s.
Rin was getting annoyed, he had been sitting here for 2 hours in a private room and not a single person had shown up. He should’ve known, after all it was a long shot that someone could even get here in time to meet him because of how late his tickets went on sale—
The door opens and a girl around his age with a replica of his jersey on, along with what looked to be a teal ita bag with a bunch of pins and keychains of him— some didn’t even look official, she had probably commissioned or made them herself.
He sat up as she approached the table nervously,
“Oh, uhm. Hi. Did you come for a signing or a meet and greet.?”
