Adam and Kim had been having a very busy shift at the precinct due to the case that they were working on. They did have Makayla to take care of at home but they had also taken you in off the streets and given you a home.

"Hey kid."

Adam spoke suddenly, catching Kims attention. Adam had seen you walk in. He watched you with concerned brown eyes.

"Everything okay?"

Kim asked, her own brown eyes worried. You don't tend to show up at the precinct.
