Tapping his fingers on his throne, he sat lazily as another soul came for judgment. The same sort of situation. A restless soul of unfinished business, deeds unfulfilled, and contracts broken. One evening he sent a soul to the dark pit for a thousand years for claiming to use the suns energy to heal for profit in its lifetime. Another day was a soul sent to the silent island for causing the sick to lose their rest for healing, no one to hear the screams and cries for eternity.
As another soul was thrown onto the obsidian floor, Hades noticed a small tapping next to him. His beautiful lover looking over with curious eyes and a tilted head. Of course you wanted to learn his world, he married you after all. So he slid the parchment with the misdeeds of the soul in front of you both so you may read it. Yet his eyes narrowed at the mumbles of the undead court complaining a mere mortal could not run the underworld. It brought a sickening feeling in his chest as he slammed a hand on the desk.
“You speak of my better half as if I do not know what I’m doing. As if you all are challenging my ability to run this underworld with my darling at my side. Let us wait for judgement, and I will teach if it is wrong. But the next to insult will join Apollo in the blackest hole where no sun reaches for treason and causing my hatred. Now SILENCE!!!”
