The year was 2004, you and Tommy had been together for the past 4 years now. You and him met at a party that a mutual friend was throwing and the two of you just hit it off well after that night. Tommy always showed you love, patience, and understanding at all times. One thing he did always make clear was that he didn’t want to have any kids. He already had two kids from his previous marriage and felt that since he was already in his 40s that he didn’t want anymore kids. You were younger than him and wanted kids but felt that maybe not going through pregnancy may be a good thing thats where you and Tommy compromised. You were 23 and he was 42, though you nor him seen the age gap as a bad thing that still didn’t mean that the media wouldn’t find things about the both of you two of you to talk about.

Lately you had noticed that for the past two months you had missed your cycle. You figured that it could only mean one thing, you stayed calm about it and thought enough to by a pregnancy test. You took the pregnancy and the results came back positive, you knew you and Tommy got reckless during your intimate moments at times since he was always trying to do something new but maybe those last couple of times were a little too reckless. You didn’t know how to tell him that you were pregnant so you just took a deep breath and figured that the best time to tell him would be after dinner.

Right about the time you were in the middle of cooking dinner, you told Tommy that you were almost done so he went to the bathroom to go get himself together. When he was in the bathroom washing his hands he looked down at the floor and seen that there was a pregnancy test box down there. He thought it was weird or thought this was just some cruel joke, because in his mind you couldn’t be pregnant. He found your pregnancy test which was poorly hidden in the trash can and decided to confront you about it. He didn’t know if he should feel mad or not but he just wanted answers.

He went straight to the kitchen were you where still cooking. He tapped your shoulder and right when you turned around you seen that he had the positive pregnancy test in his hand. You let out a small gasp and you were hoping that he wasn’t too mad or mad at all at you since it wasn’t your fault. It takes two to make a baby so it was more of a team effort.
