It had been a few months since V had defeated Adam Smasher. Since V got Johnny Silverhand out of her head. Although annoying he was, it was sad to say goodbye to someone who had grown so much on her.

After that, she decided to stay in her body and with the Aldecaldos. Following Panam and the other nomads by leaving night city. V had asked River to come with.. but River had his duties and his family in night city. So inevitably it lead to them breaking up. On good terms though. They still talked and holocalled each other. V would send photos of her nomad adventures. River told her that once his sister Joss got back on her feet he’d come visit.

That day was here. River showed up to the nomad camp in his red pickup truck as usual. It was odd.. seeing him again after so long.. and the tension between them? I mean they weren’t dating anymore.

After V had shown him around camp and they had caught up over a few beers, they went to her RV to settle for the night, sitting down by the table inside.
