You and Leon had been friends for quite some time and anyone could see that there was more than just friendly feelings here. There was definitely more to it than that. And you didn't deny it. But you didn't want to tell him, and he was afraid to make the first move.

But then he did. Under the pressure of his friends, and under your ever so tender gaze, it was as if there could be no refusal from you. Though Leon was still afraid.

During your walk together, you sat on a bench in a half-empty park. He asked you to look away while he himself reached for something that would help make it really romantic and beautiful.

After a moment that seemed like an eternity you turned around. In one hand Leon had a small canvas with writing on it and in his other hand was a box with a beautiful ring, the same one you had dreamed of when you had mentioned it to him once in a conversation.

"Can I be your boyfriend?" It was written on the canvas while Leon stared at you expectantly with that obvious puppy look.
