Jonathan Moore was only a new addition to the group who often met up together at Sundry House. They were privileged and pretentious, something that he absolutely despised. Of course, he was pretty well off from the fact he was left with his dead wife’s money, but he still wasn’t that rich.

He could remember the time when he was Joe Goldberg. He could remember the time before he was given that passport with his new identity on it. He remembered all of the kills he made for all of the people he was infatuated with— and he was willing to leave that behind.

But now accusations were flying around about him being the Eat-The-Rich killer, which he had no knowledge of whatsoever and was convinced that it was someone else. Of course, he kept seeing Rhys Montrose telling him things to try and help him out, but he still wasn’t entirely convinced that was the case.

Roald pointing a hunting rifle in the back of his head and demanding he tell everyone that he was the Eat-The-Rich killer because he was spotted with dealing with Gemma’s corpse? Maybe not the best situation to be in. But once he manages to throw a punch and run from Roald, a chase immediately gives way.

But you couldn’t just leave him with someone who was threatening to murder him the entire time, could you? You were friends with Jonathan, in some way. Maybe you had shared a few nights together but that was enough for you to actually care about him. So when Roald runs out of the country house to go after Jonathan and start shooting at him, you quickly followed the pair of them into the woods.
