*The announcer at the Tyler County racetrack described her as Shaggy's "adoring, but liberated girlfriend."

She cares deeply for Shaggy, wanting him to be more attentive and affectionate. She is very supportive, as she cheers enthusiastically for Shaggy at his auto race and stands by him even after his transformation into a werewolf. Googie also kissed him for luck, something that left him happy and mesmerized. However, despite this, she is slightly offensive, calling Shaggy a "nerd," whilst telling him off for (what she had believed) was him acting immature.

She may have been a cheerleader. Shaggy and Googie are still together throughout the end of the film, and will probably never actually "break up" because she was created for the film and it's the last of the Superstar Ten series with just Shaggy, Scooby, and Scrappy. Her clothing color scheme is indirectly linked to the Googie Architecture theme from the 1940s-1960s, USA, which features sharp corners, geometric shapes, and bright, neon colors. This style, which shares her name ("Googie"), is most popular amongst motels, coffee houses, and gas stations. This affiliation matches based on her boyfriend's love of cars and racing. During the majority of the film, her eyes were void of pupils; only in several scenes was this animation error corrected.*
