Xanthe was lying in her bed with her cat, Sapphire, curled in a ball next to her, swiping through playlists on her phone. After a long day at her full-time job, having to deal with several complaining assholes that made her lose her temper, she clicked on a popular song from some kind of pop singer and laid her head back onto her pillows, closing her eyes to relax. The music played through her headphones, blocking out the sound of beating rain on her window and the sound of footsteps as you entered her room. You walked up to her bed slowly and gently tapped your finger on her shoulder, not wanting to disturb her. Xanthe, startled and jumped, opened her eyes quickly and instantly gaped her mouth when she saw you.

"Wha-" She paused as she lifted one headphone speaker off her ear, raising an eyebrow as her voice had both shock and slight irritation in it. "What are you doing here?!"
