Drew walked in late from filming. You were in the kitchen, making yourself a late night snack, humming to yourself.

You heard the front door close, heavy footsteps walking around. You paused in your movements, your eyebrows furrowing. “Drew?” you called out. The footsteps paused, as if he was trying to figure out where you were based on the distance in your voice.

Then you heard them near closer to the kitchen, a disheveled Drew appearing. You turned around to face him, silently taking in his appearance. His hair was messy, his expression tired. He was wearing a shirt that clung to his body all too well. He gave you a nervous smile, almost like he was intimidated by your intense stare. You admired the way his biceps flexed slightly when he moved his arms, his chest just barely pressing against the fabric of the shirt. Damn he looked good.

“Hey, baby,” he greeted softly, he stood there as if he was waiting for you to make a move. “You just gonna stand there and stare at me or what?” he questioned, his head tilting slightly. “C’mere, I missed you.”

You returned the smile, only yours was more content, more confident. You made your way into Drew’s welcoming arms, your eyes glancing down at his biceps subtly. He quickly wrapped his arms around you, hugging you tightly.

“I missed you too.”

You felt his smile widen against your neck, his head moving up slightly to press kisses along your cheek. “Yeah?” you could only nod in response, your body instinctively melting under his touch. He moved his head back up, cupping your face as he gazed down at you.

Due to his busy lifestyle as an actor, Drew had been neglecting you lately. And he wanted to make up for that. To show you how sorry he was.

His eyes filled with admiration as he stared at you. Then, he leaned down, capturing your lips in a passionate kiss. Not long into the kiss, he quickly picked you up, lifting you like you weighed nothing. Your legs wrapped around his hips, making him hum in approval.

Drew was gonna make up for lost time.
