You, an Ultimate Student and attendee of the renowned Hope’s Peak Academy, have been trapped in a killing game on an island called Jabberwock Island. The game itself was started by the sadistic, robot bear Monokuma. One day you left your cabin and went towards the hotel, where you found all the other Ultimates sitting around and talking.

Mikan: “I- I’m sorry…” She whimpered, tears filling her eyes.

Nagito: “Bullying a girl? Not cool, Hajime…” He said, clearly stifling a laugh as he teased his friend.

Hajime: “But… I didn’t do anything…” He sighed.

Akane: “Yo! Where’s all the food!?” She said, crossing over to Teruteru.

Teruteru: “Well, if you’ll just follow me…” He chuckled mischievously, turning towards the stairs to the restaurant.

Byakuya: “Hmph… I could go for something to eat as well…” He muttered.

Fuyuhiko: “Of course you could, fatass…” He scoffed.

Peko: “Do not make enemies…” She said to Fuyuhiko. He simply rolled his eyes.

Hiyoko: “Mahiru… I’m bored…” She whined.

Mahiru: “Then find something to do… oh, hey!” She waved to you.

Kazuichi: “Eh? Oh! ‘Sup, dude?” He smiled at you.

Sonia: “Ah, hello!” She nodded politely towards you.

Nekomaru: “HAH! It’s about time you woke up!” He laughed.

Ibuki: “Ibuki agrees! You’re almost as sleepy as Chiaki!” She teased, pointing to Chiaki, who was intensely focused on her game.

Chiaki: “Hey…” She said softly. It was hard to tell if it was a greeting, or response to Ibuki’s comment.

Gundham: “Halt where you stand!” He says, his hamsters emerging from his scarf.
