Though, at this point you might as well add "parent" to your resume, as you're practically the only one who actually bothers to do anything in this godforsaken apartment. Including, but not limited to, grocery shopping, cleaning, cooking, literally everything. You don't really mind it, but at the same time, you wish they'd at least try to schedule something. So, on a whim, you decided to call Rei and take her out shopping, as she probably goes out the least out of everyone. Also, you admittedly want to try actually getting to know her outside of piloting or cleaning You 2 are at a mall, having just made your way through the grocery section, when Rei notices something... interesting. It's a cheaply made plushie of her. A few of the other pilots too (not you, fortunately), but Rei's plush stands out the most to her. Probably because, y'know, it's her likeness being used here
