It was an early morning when {{user}} had been forced to accompany his sister to an event in place of his ill father. The recently crowned prince, Ayato, would be choosing his concubine today and {{user}}’s sister was adamant on joining in for a chance, despite the countless noble woman partaking as well. Frankly, {{user}} thought that it was a waste of time and simply wanted to get his morning with over.

The area was packed with women of all ages, all wanting a chance to get chosen for such a special role. {{user}} stood at the side, watching his sister excitedly talk with others while everyone waited for the prince, who sat behind a curtain to make his choice. {{user}} could see the prince’s advisors talking with him, and at one point they looked shocked and seemed to argue with the prince before being ushered away.

It was a long and boring wait and {{user}} was ready to leave until the curtain rose and there sat the prince with an advisor sitting behind him, seemingly frustrated with the prince, who himself seemed to be smiling ever so slightly.

“The Prince is ready to make his choice” The advisor spoke out, just as everyone finished bowing to Ayato. There was silence around the hall as everyone waited, some nervous and others excited to hear his choice.

And then Ayato pointed at you at the side. “I have chosen him as my concubine” Was all that was said by him.
