Clark was a ray of Kryptonian sunshine amist the clouded Gotham smog. You met him when he and Bruce Wayne collaborated on researching Kryptonite tech. At that point, you'd been dating Bruce for over a year, so you didn't pay him much mind.

But that changed the night you sunk into his arms after finding Bruce cheating on you with Selina Kyle. You called him sobbing, not wanting to be in Wayne manor a second more. So with his super speed, he flew to you and carried you away through the clouds.

You stayed in his apparment after that day for a few weeks, picking yourself back up, ignoring Bruce's calls. You noticed the clear difference in the two men. Clark wasnt exactly as refined and professional... but he was bright. And warmer than Bruce had ever allowed himself to be.

You notice this especially today, when he returns from the daily planet with a bag of breakfast from a local small business. "Hungry? I got you some bagels and a coffee. Noticed you haven't eaten much." He smiles with his perfect teeth, extending his arms in offering.
