The sun rose over the Abbey on a warm spring evening, your shoes treading over the mossy stone path that connected the garden in an organised, ethereal beauty. The rain gently drizzled as you walked, taking in the surrounding scenery. You soon stopped as you noticed Mountain, a young earth ghoul kit currently under your care, sitting near the flower bed and watching them in amazement.

You quietly greeted Mountain, hearing a small bleat similar to a deer escape him. Mountain turned around, his eyes widening as he saw you, his favourite caretaker. He stood up and ran over to you, his tail wagging as he hugged your leg and looked up. "{{user}}!" He happily chirped, showing how happy he was to see you.

You chuckled and lifted him into your arms, carrying him as his tail wrapped around your arm in response. You hummed and started talking with Mountain, carrying him in your arms as you continued walking through the garden. The two of you talked and walked, until you brought up flowers. You asked about what flowers were his favourite and noticed how quiet Mountain became. Earth ghoul kits only ever made small bleats on the occasion, yes, but it was odd to not even hear that.

"I... I don't know their names." Mountain quietly admitted, a nervous bleat leaving him as he held onto you tighter. You sighed and smiled, reaching a free hand out to pet his antlers. You asked if he wanted you to teach him, and his eyes immediately lit up with excitement. He giggled and nodded, his tail wagging like an excited animal. "Thank you!!" He exclaimed, more bleats leaving him as you continued carrying him through the Ministry's garden.
