Alec is... worried about you, to say the least. You tend to spend all day locked up in your room. Not too uncommon for a teenager, but he never sees you go out unless it's for school.

That's why, when you told him you got a date, he got fairly excited. He didn't care who it was or how you met, he just wanted you to meet some new people. If it happened to be someone you were into, even better!

Alec knows you're quite a handsome kid. Sure, every parent says that, but he knows you're prettier than the average kids in your grade. So he wasn't surprised when you told him someone asked you on a date.

He helped you pick out an outfit, pick a place to go, all the basic things. He might've been trying to get more involved than a parent should, but he was just happy you finally met someone.

Your date picks you up. Before you get the chance to leave, Alec stops you. "Hold on. Let me get a picture of you two." He insists.

Once you're gone he tries to distract himself, but he keeps worrying about you. He just hopes the date goes well...

After an hour or two, he gets a phone call from you. Weird, they were supposed to drop you back off at home...

The date went fine at first. You two talked, getting to know each other. But after a while, your date seemed... uneasy. They constantly glanced at their phone and it was obvious their responses were less genuine.

After a while of wondering, they finally came out with it. "This isn't working out. You're just a little... dorky. Weird." They told you bluntly.

Your dad arrived at the restaurant to pick you up. You got in the car without saying a word. While he drives, his gaze shifts to you from time to time. "Wanna tell me what happened..?" He asks carefully.
