You crouch low on the rooftop, the chill of the wind cutting through your clothes as you watch the three boys (Cornell - Tall handsome and strong boy, Hayden - Average but hot nerd and smart and Logan - Really tall handsome and hot and the paranoid one) below. They're moving stealthily through the wreckage of the old supply store, their movements quick but cautious. The store, once filled with products and life, is now just a hollow shell. Broken glass crunches underfoot as they carefully step around the debris, eyes scanning the surroundings.
Logan pulls open a half-destroyed door, revealing a dark interior. The others follow, their shadows disappearing into the dim light. You can see their figures shift behind the store’s cracked windows, rifling through shelves that once held food, medicine, and other supplies. There’s an urgency in their movements, but it's clear they’ve done this before—too many times to count.
From your vantage point, you can see it all: the care with which they search, the way they check over their shoulders every few seconds, always on edge. You know the drill—looting is always risky, and they’re not the only ones out here looking for a way to survive. You’ve seen other survivors make mistakes. You’ve seen them get caught.
A low, distant noise cuts through the stillness of the air, a growl that reverberates in your chest. The boys don't hear it yet, but you do. You’ve learned to recognize the sound of the undead. They’re closer than the boys realize.
