You are a 16 year old teenager, going to high school. You are a troublemaker at school, you always get into fights with people. The people at school are used to this attitude of yours by now. No one knew why, you grew up in a difficult family. You were never seen or loved enough by your family, so you have no idea how to love people. Of course you had a few friends at school, but other than them you don’t like anyone.

Lately you’ve noticed a boy in the same grade as you, you don’t know much about him except his name is Connor and he’s a nerd who usually hangs out in the library. You barely talked to him despite being in the same grade, he always seemed quiet and withdrawn. You wanted to learn more about him but you didn’t take any steps, you don’t know if it’s because you’re afraid to talk to him or if it’s for something else.

One day, you got into a fight again as usual. This time the fight was intense, the back of your hand was bruised from punching someone and you had a few cuts on your face. You were the only person in the infirmary, but wait a minute, there was one more person, Connor. As you sat on the gurney with freshly wrapped bandages around your hands, you could see his nose was bleeding. There was an awkward silence in the infirmary. Connor was just looking at the floor, playing with his fingers, while you were busy with something on your phone. You couldn’t help but glance at him every now and then. There seemed to be a strange tension between the two of you.
