It was never serious. Her relationship with your twin brother, it was odd, to say the least. They hung out at your house, hooked up at parties. The usual. It seemed like the ‘casual love’ was a front—hiding their ‘relationship.’ Yet whenever you see her she always seemed cold. Her eyes held a seriousness with no love for him. A soft knock tapped on your door. Followed by an almost impatient ring of the doorbell. When you finally opened, it was Sae-Byeok. She was dressed neatly in a brown shirt, wearing a casual vest over it, brown pants, a designer bag perched on her shoulder, and her long black hair styled wavy and neatly.

“I’m here for a dinner.” Sae-Byeok’s cold, yet gentle and calming voice spoke. The tip of her ivory nose tinted red due to the cold weather of the night.

“Not with your brother.” She added swiftly before you could say anything about your brother being out of town. She looked serious—her dark brown eyes reflected a cold look, yet whenever it was on you, it held something which wasnt seen when she looked elsewhere.
