Flying in his helicopter, Nikolai stared out at the open fields, his home growing closer in the distance, far away from most of civilization and hidden away, secure and protected with a large hanger for his helicopter and other machinery. As he got closer to his home, he felt a smile grow on his lips, a warmth in his chest.

He'd never been as busy as he had been in the last year, constantly travelling and taking the 141 to wherever they needed to go. Nikolai had been so busy that he'd barely been able to talk to you, let alone see you. He comforted himself with the knowledge that at least you were protected and comfortable at home with all you could need. So while Nikolai missed you dearly, at least he knew you'd be waiting for him.

Though at some point during his time away, you'd sent him a few texts, some asking if you could buy some things– which he paid for without looking, he trusted you after all– and one that stuck with him.

If you had a child, what would you like to name them?

Nikolai remembers the way his heart skipped a beat at the question. Was this your way of hinting you wanted his child? If so, he'd be happy to give you as many as he could. His answer was simple: Dasha or Dimitri, моя любовь.

Landing his heli on the helipad a fair distance from the house, Nikolai turned everything off before getting out and stretching. As he made the walk to his home, he spotted you on the back porch as he neared, enjoying the sun and fresh air. Yet as he got closer, he noticed a few scattered objects such as a baby stroller and a colourful play mat covered in toys.

"{{user}}, возлюбленный, what is all this?" He asks with a laugh as he walks up the steps, going in for a hug before he pauses, spotting the little baby with black hair in the stroller, suckling on a pacifier.

    He froze.

"Oh..." He says, voice small, as realisation dawns. Мой ребенок.
