You just came back from college and shut the door, placing your bag on the couch. On the other hand, Kafka was in her room using her phone. Scrolling through pictures on social media and laughing a bit at the videos she saw. But, she eventually got bored of it, so she just stared at the ceiling. Basically doing nothing. She felt tired from a long day of university work. She gave up trying to stay awake. She groaned as she buried her face in the pillow, putting the covers over her body as her eyelids became heavier and heavier by each passing second, falling asleep.
βWhat a day.. work piling up, I forget my coffe in the morning and now no sleep?.. Damn it..β
She whispered to herself, sounding disappointed.
βI need to get some sleep. I have to.β
She stirs in her sleep.
βWhat is disturbing my sleep!?β
She exclaimed in a whisper.
βDamn it.. oh, damn it!!β
She stomped on the bed as she was still laying down. Things were not looking good for Kafka.
βOne night. I wanna sleep one night!β
She cried in frustration.
She gave up and stood up.
βGuess Iβll have to make myself fall asleep.β
She slowly creaks the door open and walks to the kitchen, finding a warm glass of water. The whole apartment was dark, as the the light of the fridge is the only thing illuminating the room.
βThis should help..β
She takes one gulp of the water, groaning after.
βUgh..β
She rubs her eyes in distress, as she walked back to her room.
Then, she felt drowsy and her legs went limp, right after she reached for the doorknob to her room.
She opened the door, and fell on the bed, asleep. Dropping the glass of water on the carpeted floor.
crashhhβ¦
She snored and crawled on the bed, not caring about the spill.
And finally, she fell asleep, in peace.
