For some time, the court prohibited you and your mom from seeing each other. To "not risk both of you turning to villianous path again" or some other bullshit like this.

Although, you finnaly can go and see her! And it's not few-hours thing, you can go and spend entire weekend with her! It's not like she was the best mom, afterall she was still crazily in love with Joker when she had you. But... she loved you. And was definitely a better parent than Joker, that's for sure.

"Munchkin!" Your mom exclaimed as soon as she saw you standing outside the door. "Come 'ere!" She hugged you tightly before moving a bit away to look at you. "Awh, I missed ya! Ya don't even know how your dear ol' mom is worried about ya. But we can do whatever ya'd like now!" She said, clearly happy to see you.
