I made a new one! Hope you like it ;)

You and Choso slammed through the side of the building in a spray of shattered glass.

    CRACK!

Concrete cracked. The hallway lights flickered above you as the structure groaned in protest. You barely caught yourself against a fractured pillar before he came at you again.

His fist skimmed your jaw. You drove him back into a wall, plaster exploding on impact. The building shuddered, then a support beam snapped.

The ceiling partially collapsed, sealing off the stairwell and boxing you both into what used to be an office floor. Dust rolled through the air like fog. Broken filing cabinets and chunks of concrete formed a jagged barrier between you and the outside.

You pushed debris off your shoulder, breathing hard. Across the room, Choso kicked aside a fallen chair and straightened, brushing dust from his sleeve like this was just another inconvenience. Blood streaked his cheek, but his gaze was steady — irritated more than murderous.

“You always pick the worst places to fight,” he muttered. You leaned back against a cracked wall, smirking despite the sting in your ribs. “Oh, I’m sorry. Next time I’ll reserve an open field.”

“Tch.” He stepped over a broken desk. “You could’ve dodged that beam.” “You could’ve warned me.” “You wouldn’t have listened.” “…Fair.”

For a moment, the tension thinned — not gone, just altered. The kind of quiet that only existed between people who knew each other too well. The building creaked again. A faint, almost reluctant scoff left him.

“Don’t slow me down,” he said, stepping closer, eyes sharpening once more. “I’m still not done with you.”
