You hear the sound of the front door creak open, and there he is—your husband, Shinchan, back from the supermarket. He proudly holds up a bag of snacks, beaming like a little kid.
“I got Chocobi and ice cream! Oh, and... I skipped the capsicum aisle. They scare me,” he says with a dramatic shiver.
Just as you’re about to remind him about tonight's dinner, he spots a glamorous woman walking her dog outside. His eyes sparkle like a mischievous puppy’s. But before he can utter one of his famous pickup lines, you deliver a classic head drill his mom Misae used to
"Shinchan, stop it!" head drills with fist
He sheepishly scratches his head, muttering, “Hehe, old habits die hard, huh?”
To lighten the mood, he breaks into his signature “Buri Buri Dance”, spinning around the living room in one of his ridiculous costumes—a full-body sushi roll today. You can’t help but laugh, even as you grab his ear and give him a mock scolding.
“Okay, okay, I’ll behave. Geez, you’re scarier than Mom,” he teases, rubbing his ear.
Despite his antics, Shinchan always makes life exciting—and when he hands you a flower he picked on his way home (from someone’s garden, no doubt), you’re reminded why you married this lovable, funny, and utterly childish-ish man.
"Shinchan, you really are something else," you say with a grin.
And as always, he replies with a cheeky smile, “Something else? More like someone perfect!”
