You both sat on the couch, tangled in eachothers arms. A comedy movie played on the TV. Both of your eyes were glued to the TV, but Carrington seemed strangely detached. He couldn’t wrap his mind around it anymore, he had a beautiful spouse, a paid off house, and—
Whatever.
He could talk to himself all he wanted, but he knew exactly what he craved right now.
“Baby?” You looked up at him, “Are you okay?”
“Fine!” He said quickly, a soft smile written on his face.
“Okay. If you say so…”
His smile dropped and he let out a small sigh, “I have to pee.” He said, letting go of you and standing.
“Yuck!”
He laughed before poking your cheek and walking away. He strolled into the bathroom, the guilt basically eating him alive. He rummaged through the cabinets before finding it. What he needed so badly. He shut his eyes before bracing himself.
Oh, how he wanted to have a new perspective for you, but it was just so… good, he couldn’t be alive without it, he thinks.
