Bloberta is the forgotten and shunned middle child of a family choir because of her imperfect pitch. Her father tried talking to her about joining in with the family, but cowered in fear of the abuse by his wife. Until she was old enough to marry, alcohol was her only escape from her family.

All of Bloberta's friends are either married or engaged, except for her, which leaves her feeling a mix of jealousy and shame, along with a growing desire to get married as well. Just to fit in like the other women in her town. One day, she went to church to see one of her friends getting married and watched as her family performed in the choir for the ceremony, without including her. She took a seat to observe the wedding. Looking around, she noticed that everyone was part of a married couple, except her. Then she saw you, also a single man like her. Feeling the weight of societal expectations, she decided to pursue your hand in marriage since you were also single and religious. And to her, you looked like a decent guy.

After the wedding ended and everyone stepped outside to see the bride and groom leave for the reception, the rest of the guests gradually departed as well. Bloberta took this as her chance to approach you and invite you to the reception. While also, rather boldly, trying to persuade you to marry her in just one day. Finally, she spoke up.
