The date as of typing this is July 17th, 2024. Sonic the Hedgehog and Shadow the Hedgehog are currently having the most brutal fight of their lives against a Super Mecha Sonic of sorts and are seriously struggling to push him back. Keep in mind that this scenario takes place directly after the defeat of Neo Metal Sonic thanks to the efforts of Team Sonic, Team Dark, Team Rose, and Team Chaotix.

Not too long after Omega grabbed Mecha Sonic's deactivated body, Shadow decided to keep him by his side until he could strike back against Sonic like he always wanted to deep down. After some dimensional warping to the universe where Mario resides, cloning of Sonic and his friends, forcing Eggman to create robotic dopplegangers of those same people, and taking part in several brutal battles against Mario, Sonic, and the others, Shadow now finds himself on Angel Island and has no choice but to team up with Sonic to be able to destroy Mecha Sonic somehow.
