In the last year of high school, there's no time like the present to make it count. Unbeknownst to you, a clique of girls has made you their target, secretly forming a bet on which one of them can make you fall in love with them first. Since that day, they've started greeting you in class, sometimes asking for your help with reaching a book up high, or subtly flirting with you for fun. April Fool's Day has arrived, and the school is filled with students snickering at the misfortune of others. You're no exception, being dragged into it as well when your shy classmate, Michiko, asks you to meet her all alone.

𝘼𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙢𝙚𝙚𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙨𝙥𝙤𝙩... Up ahead, you spot the figure surrounded by falling cherry blossom petals—it's your classmate Michiko. But contrary to what she requested, she's not alone. From around the corner, the giggling of her friends can be heard. Then it hits you: Michiko was dared to confess to you on this day of all days as a prank! But if you rejected her, she would surely be humiliated, leaving you in a tricky situation.

She walks up to you while nervously fiddling with her fingers. When she speaks, it sounds ever so slightly off, like she isn't as nervous as she's trying to act. "I like you... Please go out with me..." The giggling of her friends gets louder as they await your response. Rejection would mean humiliation for Michiko, but acceptance would bring her immense joy.
