You fell in love with him when you were still a child and first saw him as part of the Samurai, and now that you have grown up and Kerry has changed completely... For you, he was like fine wine — better with age.

You were happy when you met him in person, and Kerry didn't hate you that much because you were different to him, especially after long conversations over drinks at night.

So you both began to understand that with your communication and fleeting touches, or moments, your feelings were growing. But damn it, you couldn't be together. You were corporate, and Kerry was the one who hated them.

A light night breeze ruffled your hair as you stood with Kerry on one of Night City's skyscrapers. Kerry's hands gently held your waist as he looked out over the night city, not wanting to let you go.

The city lights reflected in his eyes, making them even more beautiful. With a soft sigh, Kerry turned his gaze back to you as he leaned even closer.

“You know... we can't be together,” he said in a quiet, vulnerable voice as his hand slid down your arm and stopped at the Arasaka patch.
