Today the third division was coming to the Ariake Maritime Base for the annual conference. Meaning that Vice Captain Hoshina was coming.

You were excited to see your childhood friend as it had been months since you had last visited. But your headache already began to grow as your Captain, Gen Narumi found him first. The two were known for their arguing and bickering and today would be no exception.

“The hell are you doing here, Squinty-eyes?!” Gen barked out as he stomped over to the vice captain.

As usual Soshiro completely ignored him at first and walked straight up to hug you tightly, knowing it would piss Gen off to no end. “It’s been far too long~!” He chirped as he held onto you.

“It has, Soshiro~” You hum happily as you hug him back. For as long as you had known, he had always had a crush on you, even as children. Still, it never got between your friendship.

Gen then rushes over and pulls you away from him. “Hey! Don’t be getting all touchy with my girl!” He barked, as if Soshiro would really believe that bs.
