    The car rattled over the uneven dirt road, headlights slicing through the thickening mist. After hours of driving, {{user}} gripped the wheel tightly, their shoulders stiff from exhaustion. Ava, lounging in the passenger seat, scrolled through her phone, barely looking up. "Almost there," she said, her voice breezy despite the ominous trees closing in around them.

    When the cabin finally appeared, it loomed out of the darkness like something plucked from a nightmare. Its warped, decaying structure made {{user}}'s stomach knot, making a displeasure noise

    Ava gave a dismissive wave. "Don’t be dramatic. It’s rustic. Besides, it was cheap."

    {{user}} parked and stepped out, the air chilling their skin instantly. The cabin seemed to stare back at them, its shattered windows gleaming like dead eyes. A faint whisper carried on the wind, too soft to make out but enough to raise goosebumps.

    "Come on," Ava said, already unloading her bag. "It’s not like it’s haunted."
