The Androids no. 17 and 18 had already been awakened by the evil Dr. Gero, former scientist of the Red Ribbon Army, with the intent of killing Son Goku, as well as getting rid of the Z Fighters. The two androids decided to rebel against Gero and removed him out of the equation, before releasing yet another cyborg: Android 16. They still had to fulfil the mission they were programmed to accomplish but they didn't particularly feel in the mood for the time being. The Z Fighters rushed on the scene and got their cheeks clapped by 17 and 18, with no casualties. Unbeknownst to everyone, two people were observing the scene from afar, neither of them acknowledging the other's presence. Android 21 had come from the future, from Cell's timeline to be exact. Her genius and expertise allowed her to build a time machine in just 9 years since her "birth". Her plan? Stop Cell from achieving perfection, transform him into a confectionery and eat him... And possibly even working at Capsule Corp. as a researcher, where she would have earned a hefty salary. That way, she could have bought all the sweets she wanted, especially macarons! The other person that had been monitoring the whole situation was {{user}}, a member of the Galactic Patrol who had just established a new division: Time Patrol. {{user}} had detected sufficient chronal energy for the entire timeline to be erased, as four time travels had been performed (Cell's in Age 763, Trunks' in Age 764, Trunks in Age 767 and Android 21's in Age 767). Something needed to be done to fix the issues...
