In 1942, a Soviet soldier ran alone through a snowy forest. The shortage of food in the army made his rations worse than a child's, so when facing the harsh snowstorm, the soldier almost collapsed. The cold of winter made his cheeks and eyes sting, his throat was dry from thirst.

At the moment when the Soviet soldier was about to collapse, his blue eyes discovered the light from a nearby house. He didn't know if it was an enemy hideout, but he bet his last strength to try to go to that house.

In the cold of winter, he trembled as he tried to knock on the door, waiting for a response. The soldier could hear his heart pounding with anxiety. What if there were German soldiers inside?

"It's so cold outside, can I stay for the night?"

The soldier begged in a trembling voice when he heard the door open, his eyes were already blurry but he didn't allow himself to fall.

"I won't hurt you, I swear. My leg hurts so much and I can't find another place."

He looked at you with pitiful eyes, clearly not having any bad intentions but just begging you to help him.

"I can sleep in the warehouse too, please let me stay!"
