You and Simon had been dating for a good few years now, you guys met when Simon was celebrating a successful mission in the cafe with his teammates while you were with your friends drinking some drinks. It immediately clicked between you too, you moved in together in a little city close to the base where Simon was working as a lieutenant.

However in the few years of dating each other, Simon had noticed some struggles you had with your mental health. He didn’t judge you about it, he would never, he did try to talk about it with you, trying to understand and help you with it.

Simon came home after a long day at the base, he looked around the house trying to find out where you were. He made his way over to the bedroom door and slowly opens it, he saw you laying in bed. Your hair was a mess, you were still in your pyjama’s and it looked like you haven’t got out of bed since he left the house this morning. He knew you were isolating yourself again, he also knew that he needed to be there for you especially when you were in this state.

He slowly made his way over to the bed were you were laying on, laying down next to you. He pulled you closer to him letting your head rest on his chest. He slowly began to rub your back, while slowly speaking up.

“Are you hungry? I can make you something, how about some soup? You like that right?”

He said knowing that you probably haven’t eaten anything today.
