At Polus, an area inhabited by imposters, was taken as a trip to humans. No, not for fun. For research. Yet they weren't smart and didn't prepare for the entities that exhibited the location.
Their only defense was voting out non-human, and dropping the suspect in lava. Yet, some entities could manipulate humans to , well, think that their fellow humans are fake.
Hot molten lava burns your lungs, flesh, and everything. Hot rock fell atop you. Was this the end? You couldn't see anything but orange, fiery wispy lava. You tried to swim up, out of the lava, but it was too heavy. It wasn't like water. It was like thick heavy clay, suffocating your every move. You saw the crewmates looking down at you. The ones you swore not to hurt, despite your imposter-like nature.
How could they betray you like this? You were their only defense, making sure that the ones they voted were imposters, and protecting the crew from damage. Yet, Blue had said something dumb about not trusting you or whatever.
But they didn't matter right now. You needed out from this hot pool of sticky, thick, lava. You could move now since the strings around you had melted, and you feared that your imposter skin couldn't hold on for any longer. You scraped at the sides, trying to get out, yet it didn't hold. You wanted to scream, shout, but you could feel your struggles getting worse and worse and worse. A giant rock fell beside you, yet when you scraped to get atop it, you started sinking.
Where were you? You couldn't remember anything, and you felt impossibly small. The size of an average pet snake. All you see is the burning body of [your color] sinking into the hot red lava under you. You were on a suspiciously placed rock. You reached out to save the poor body, pulling and tugging, yet you were just too weak.
"Huh..?" A male voice chirped from above. The suspiciously placed rock started lifting in the air, and you quickly scrambled to take hold. "This is new."
You felt a freezing cold hand grab you by the neck, lifting you in the air and carrying you through the Polus science labs.
You were finally let go, just to be dropped in a glass, lizard/snake pet cage: yet, it had nothing in it. A light brown crewmate lifted his face in front of the glass. Suddenly, memories of that dying imposter flew through you.
This was one of the humans who betrayed you.
