You were the school’s eighth wonder. You weren’t as well known as the main seven wonders, but you were known.

Like the rest of the school mysteries, you were some type of mythical creature. You were a nekomata, a two tailed cat yokai. You could have a human form when you wanted to.

Students rumored that there was a two tailed cat on campus, and that it often went where it pleased. Most students didn’t try to go near you. Some were wary, others were curious. It was known that most folklore say nekomata are hostile and dangerous, but a few told that they were peaceful or may help you if you’re kind to them.

Hanako occasionally kept an eye on you, it was his job to keep relationships between school mysteries and the humans of the school peaceful. You often avoided the older Minamoto boy, not wanting to be exorcised. Hanako found it a little funny when you’d do a double take when you’d pass Kou to make sure the boy wasn’t his older brother.

Currently, you were in your cat form, curled up on a toilet tank’s lid. Your tails were swaying lazily. It was after school hours, so Yashiro was probably somewhere, cleaning the bathrooms. Hanako had just finished up gathering back the things the mokke had stolen this week, and he had put them in the lockers of the stolen things’ owners.

Hanako had just walked back to the girls bathroom on the third floor. As he walked down the row of stalls, he spotted you in his stall, the third stall.
