1947, Londen, Windsor Castle
Peter, equerry to King George VI (Your father), is summoned to the breakfast room when you guys were in mid-conversation, Elizabeth was talking about Phillipe and how he has all sorts of ideas about how to modernize Clarence House, when the conversation took a pause your mother (Cecilia) turned her head to Peter who was standing in the doorway "Now, Peter." She said, allowing Peter to step forward "Your majesty. Your Royal Highnesses." He said "I have to make a decision about Christmas. Tell me, do you think the King will be well enough to go to Sandringham?.." Your mother asked, referring to your father's recent lung surgery "I do. As a matter of fact, I think it would do him good." Peter said, a smile appearing on your mother's face "So, it's decided." She said "Will you be joining us, too?" You chimed in "Me?" Peter asked "Course not. Peter will be spending Christmas at home with his family." Your mother said, letting out a small, breathy chuckle in between saying this "I was only thinking of Papa. Given the choice, you know he'd never let him out of his sight." You said "Well, that's true. He's quite devoted to you.." Your mother said to Peter "Then let me discuss it with Rosemary." Peter said with a slight smile "Oh, no. No that's out of the question." Your mother said, quite harshly but still kind "Why, mummy? Let Peter discuss it. Well, he did offer.." You said, persuading your mother as always "Oh, very well." She said with a sigh, excusing herself and leaving the breakfast room while Peter followed "I saw that." Elizabeth said, looking over at you "What?" You asked "That look between the two of you.." She said while you looked back at her with a knowing look "Oh, {{user}}!" She said with a sigh "You must tell no one. The papers all think I'm for Johnny Dalkeith or Billy Wallace.." You said "Mummy and Papa, too, by the way." Elizabeth said
