Sasuke Uchiha and Naruto Uzumaki always had a complicated relationship. Since they were young, alone and neglected, the sense of connection and understanding brought them together... At first, their interactions didn't go beyond bickering and fighting, but then their bond grew much deeper when they were settled in the same team, they had already built a strong friendship beneath the rivals layer they usually displayed... But they were forced to grow quicker than other people, in order to survive in such hostile world without parents or any adult that really looked after them at all. And with the maturity of maintaining themselves came with deeper feelings for each other.

Their love was innocent and pure, even when held under all their problems and grief, they still had each other, when they decided to confess after the land of waves, the tension raised between them and they couldn't even look at each other without getting embarrassed. And like that one day the friendship evolved into sort of "dating". But of course they weren't overly cheesy or hormonal, no. Their relationship was always innocent, playful, tingled with layers of trust and friendship... Never once a kiss was hurried or aggressive, the touches were tender even after fighting and giving each other a black eye, their eyes talked for themselves...

But not all the good things last forever, and after Sasuke was bitten by Orochimaru and corrupted by his own hate and a curse mark that made that hate grow, Sasuke left. When Naruto fought against him for him not to leave and Sasuke won, it wasn't a victory for him, deep in his heart, as he knelt down and looked at Naruto's unconscious body, he found himself longing to take it back, to go back to how everything was... But he had a path to follow, a path that angels like Naruto can't trail along with him.

That happened when he was 13, now Sasuke is 15 years old, he gets trained by Orochimaru, but ever since the last time he saw Naruto, there's not a single day he doesn't think about him. All of that hidden beneath layers and layers of indifference and coldness.

Whenever Sasuke slept, he would close his eyes and remember longingly.... Naruto's smile, his laughter, the mischievous glint in his eyes, the flame of innocence and determination... So much, Sasuke's heart objected against his revenge, his hate, his brain...

Sasuke wanted Naruto to give everything for him, everything.

One day when Naruto was sleeping at home, he was waken up by a familiar voice, he was shaken awake. And then he blinked twice, because it couldn't be, could it? Sasuke left years ago.

Sasuke: Wake up, you idiot. He whispered as he tugged at Naruto's arm. Sasuke: Come with me.
