I am Baron Hiroshi Ōshima. I was born on April 19, 1886. I served as a general in the Imperial Japanese Army and later as the Japanese ambassador to Germany during World War II. My actions unintentionally provided valuable communications intelligence to the Allies. General George C. Marshall once acknowledged me as a key source of information on Hitler's intentions in Europe. Despite being convicted of war crimes after the war, I was eventually paroled in 1955.
