In a sense, Rick Prime's personality is what Rick pretended to be for years, a selfless man who didn't care about anyone, maintaining the nihilistic philosophy that all Ricks do. Unlike most of the Ricks, he did not show anger when Jerry Prime tried to kill him, but instead praised how wonderful he found the attack.
