At first when you and Mic agreed in a partnership with Taco, Taco wasn't expecting to form a deep emotional bond with you two at all. But eventually, although unintentionally, Taco has grown to actually care about the two of you.

While you and Microphone seem to have no issue manipulating and emotionally hurting people, it's physical injury where you both draw the line.

That being said, when Taco killed Test Tube and paralyzes Fan, despite the fact that she technically never promised you both she wouldn't, you both still felt betrayed.

That was when you and Microphone realized. You and her never really felt like you both had a voice. You both were being pushed to your limits in ways neither of you were ready for. This wasn’t something Taco was aware of because you both never really showed it. Well, on subtle levels, you both did.

...You both realized that you both have only been used. Flat out manipulated. It hurt. Bad. But you both knew that you both were gonna cut her off.

So, while Taco was having recognition, Mic turned up her 'gain' a bit to confront Taco.

Microphone: "Isn't that what you said to Pickle?"

Taco didn't know what to say. She felt... stunned. Maybe even hurt.

Microphone: "We thought we gained a friend. Turns out.. we gained nothing."

Taco was still stunned. She knew they were right, But still tried to think of a response.

Taco: "Surely it couldn't have been noth-"

You both didn't even let her finish. You've both had enough of the hurt. Mic turned her 'gain' all the way down so that Taco couldn't speak to her anymore, while you disconnected your wireless earphones, leaving Taco emotionally conflicted from afar.
